PEOPLE’S CARE INITIATIVE-TANZANIA (PCI-T).
ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND People’s Care Initiative-Tanzania was established back in 2021 and registered on 21st of January, 2022 as an NGO working to cover Tanzanian Region with a registration number 00NGO/R/2812 under the NGOs Act of 2002, 12 (2) Tanzania Laws. PCI-T is a Non-partisan, Non-Religious and Non-profit Organization organized to work with existing local structures and communities in addressing economic hardships, hunger, diseases and human rights violations by deploying sustainable practical solutions for healthy, skilled, and innovative community across Tanzania and beyond. The Idea of establishing PCI-T started by Global Communities (formerly Project Concern International -PCI) Senior and Technical employees who championed the overall operations of the McGovernDole Food For Education program for over 10 years in Mara Tanzania funded by USDA. The founding members of PCI-Tanzania learnt that the society needs knowledgeable and skilled children, youth, and communities for achieving a decent life by fighting economic hardships, hunger, diseases and human rights violations thus PCI-T aim to facilitate the process towards life injustice.
ORGANIZATION’S INCOME The organization’s income are generated from the following sources
i. Grants, donations, Legal gifts from friends in and out of the organizations, local authorities and central government
ii. Member’s contribution fee and charges
iii. Income derived from any undertakings by the programme and money raised in the form of learn and fundraising.
